Hm...
EB elections done :) more people in the EB than ever... Biggest question: how to split tasks and responsibilities... Oh, cos this is the youngest EB ever. Only being in AIESEC for 4 months...
Positive: very determined, no bad habits, some clear goals, friends,...
Negative: no experience, short on theoritical knowledge, stubburness,...
Other positive: prepared coach, connections, many interested people,...
Other negative: very few old members
Next: transition...
Meanwhile: evaluation...

Now we are facing the transition period... with minor other events on the way.
I'm leaving my active AIESEC years behind, but there is one thing I have to do in AIESEC. When? I don't know.
I want to attend IC and one other big international conference of AIESEC. As a trainer? Facilitator? Speaker? Future will tell.

What a big mistake I made!
Me, being interested in learning and all that stuff... didn't pay attention to others... that they might learn differently.
Well... didnt really think over this learning part at all during the planning... There was no really learning planned :( Basically, I just provided information, it was easy and convenient... even though the information was carefully selected.
Ah... such a mistake... Something to highlight for Learning VP during transition, for sure.

Saying goodbye to something...
But only when the time has come. I'm saying goodbye to AIESEC soon. I get on the train, leaving the platform.
What AIESEC gave me is tremendous! Experiences, friends, loads of things to remember. Loads of things learnt.
I feel it easy now. Leaving something behind. Something great. Because I know, I'm facing something new, something great.

Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

Ah, I felt I had to put sth in the blog :)
I feel pretty good now...
Once, for myself. I feel I'm much closer to people now then during my first EB term. Though I spend a lot of time in front of the computer still, but meeting people much more. It feels good...
Twice, for our people :)

Mentoring...
A great tool... Shall it be organized or let happen freely. How can someone find a good mentor... I still couldn't :(

Last weekend was only for us... Pepez and me. We went to Balaton, the weather was perfect... we ate lunch on the beach of Balatonfüred.
I can't imagine more relaxing time.
But since my last post:
mostly administration, contracts, etc... and school stuff.
And a chat. And the importance of open communication and trust. And... knowing each other. Being colleagues or being friends as well...?
What can hinder you from performing well, as a team... And even if you know, are you sure you can make it happen? Try...
If you don't try you will never know.
And... TALK to people. A leader has to have really good communication and inter-personal skills! Part of it is: giving and receiving feedback! Don't underestimate the significance of it.
The other question is 'delegation'... meaning: organizing the work, not doing it... I posted earlier the 'art of delegation'. I should go over it again myself.
And the plan... I will finish the editing very soon. People should read it all over... It has always been a problem that the plan was not followed!! It's a luxury...
You should keep a meeting and continuously go and check the plan made earlier. If needed don't be afraid to CHANGE it!
Connected to this, though I started earlier due to aiesec.net not functioning I couldn't continue, proper documentation!! I try and as soon as possible I will tell the team leaders to take their documents on aiesec.net.
